On a sunny day in September 2009, a group from the Grace Community Church, organized by Greene Habitat, helped out a local resident by putting a fresh coat of paint on his mobile home. Jeff Hill, the trailer's owner (first photo), is legally blind and needed the job done in order to fulfill a request made by his landlord. The group power washed the trailer and then applied two coats of paint. Grace Community tries to do something like this each month for folks in the Greene community. The painters were John Kidd, Steve and Monica Jerabek, Fleming and Peggy Straughan, David Forbes, Dave Saville and Michelle Hooper and her son Chris. (Photos by Jerry Besanson)
