2010 Stanardsville Parade of Lights

The 5th annual Stanardsville Parade of Lights started rather bumpy for us. The truck we used for previous parades wasn't running well and we almost had to cancel our attendance. Brady and Laura Genz saved the day, however, by donating their SUV and decorating skills. The night was bitter cold and even a few snow flakes fell as we started out on our journey. But we were surprised at the number of hearty folks that were out lining Main Street and wishing us Merry Christmas as we drove by. The old saying must be true: Tis the season to be jolly!
